I love Thai food been craving it I thought the pad Thai I be obsessed with but what actually hit th spot was the eggplant stirfry a must try!!! I love th new location and the area they have set up to dine-in! It you have not tried their grinds I would go! I really loved the veggie spring rolls with their sauce was so good the crunch was so good I love how they make everything hot & fresh on the spot! The wait time was worth it!! The pad thai was more or a red sauce vibe verses a peanut style so if your look for peanut style da kine this was not that but it was still yummy! My husband did mess up get the Thai coffee and not the tea so we will be goint back and I'll probably be up all night but it was yummy! Customer service was great and very welcoming they got busy and I saw everything move smooth! Perfect place to visit if you are going to the national park! Make sure you follow their IG and follow me for more reviews!

Traveling all morning from Waikaloa to Volcanoes National Park, this was a treat indeed! The Thai Green Curry with Shrimp and Spring Rolls had such an outstanding flavor that we haven't tasted since before. The closest thing to eating in Thailand I've found between the lower 48 and Hawaii! You're missing out if you don't stop after hours in the car driving! What a fantastic lunch!

Awesome Thai food for an awesome price. Stopped here after volcano park to see the lava fountain. Glad I did. Pad Thai was delicious and the portion was huge, all for like $17. Spring rolls were fresh and crispy. The owners seem to be very nice and were friendly. Will stop again if ever in the area. Definitely recommended.

While staying at Volcanoes Natl Park, we were looking for a local place for dinner and found Tuk Tuk. It's a food truck located on the golf course and just a quick drive from the park. Lots of curries, stir fries and noodles. It was so hard to choose though we settled on the panang curry and shrimp pad thai with an order of summer rolls. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth our wait. They were very busy and that's a great sign for good food. Well worth a stop while visiting.

There's not many food options around the Volcano National Park, but this food truck is super close just a little down the road outside the entrance. The person who took our order was friendly, it wasn't busy and took no more than 10 minutes to get our food. There's a nice shaded tent with some tables and chairs you can eat at. We got: Avocado summer rolls: my favorite! So appetizing, creamy, and fresh, dipped in a little peanut sauce it's just perfect. You get 4 hearty halves Papaya salad with shrimp: we are always lacking in vegetables on vacation so this was also a nice refreshing dish. Tasted fresh as well Chicken Masaman curry: a little heavy on the carbs for us. It was supposed to be potato and pineapple but there were only 2 tiny pieces of pineapple and a ton of potato. Flavor was good though, and we liked the brown rice (you could also have jasmine rice). Might try the avocado curry next time. Thai green tea: I was excited to get this as I've not found many places serving this. It was a good blend of flavors. I shared a cup with my partner and it did not last long, lots of ice. Maybe I'll ask for less ice next time. It's a little sweet, which is typical for Thai tea but the flavors balance it out pretty well. Prices weren't too bad either.

We came out of the Volcano National Park worried we couldn't find any tasty non-tourist trap food, and happened to come across Tuk Tuk. Decided to take a shot and boy are we happy we did. We ordered the cashew stir fry, massaman curry, and avocado spring rolls. Everything, and I mean every ingredient, was incredibly fresh from the avocados to the coconut milk. Vegetables were vibrant, sauce tasted fresh, and the meat wasn't rubbery. Highly suggest stopping here if you're looking for a quick fix of delicious food. The pictures speak for themselves.

Service 5+, super sweet. I ordered the Shrimp Pad Thai (typical go-to when trying a new to me Thai joint). Portion was huge! Spice was perfect. Shrimp were plentiful. But it wasn't Pad Thai for me. It was noodles and spice. Lacked some basics flavor-wise. Definitely will be going back to try other options.

We stopped in here after hiking in the Hawaii volcanoes national park. The service was really friendly and warm. We ordered the summer rolls with avocado, spring rolls, massaman curry. Pad kee mao, and a Thai iced tea. Everything was yummy. And super hot/fresh. We would definitely come back!

Everywhere closes so early so we found tuk tuk after our volcanoes visit. This place really hit the spot after a long day of hiking in the sun. No seating, just a small food truck. We squished in our SUV and ate in our car. I ordered the fried rice. Good amount of spicy and large portion. My friend ordered the pumpkin curry which was also very tasty. Service is just a bit slow but understandable for small food truck kitchen and only 2 workers. It took around 25 mins for 4 dishes to come out.

The nicest order taker ever! We came here after visiting Volcanoes National Park. It's just a few minutes drive away and we had worked up a pretty good appetite. We pulled into the parking lot and got the last spot. There was a short line and many people waiting in their cars for their orders. After ordering; they told us it would take 35-40 minutes for our food to be ready. That's how popular this place is! To prevent a long wait, I think you can call in your order while touring the park and pick it up when you arrive. The food was tasty - especially the pad see ew. The order taker gave us packets of fish sauce with Thai chili peppers to add to the fried rice. She said that was her favorite. We tried it and agree that it was delicious! The Thai ice tea was not very strong, almost tasted like sugar water. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and would definitely go back again.
